Dr Rendani Tshikosi is a certified Fertility Subspecialist, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Ilitha Park, Khayelitsha.

In 2005, he qualified with an MBCHB at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2017, he completed a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FCOG) qualification at the Colleges of Medicines of South Africa.

Following this, he earned an MMed Certificate in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Cape Town.

He worked for 7 years in the public sector as a Medical Officer. At the same time, he ran a general practitioner practice, while covering the emergency centre in Mediclinic, Polokwane.

His interest in sexual health started in a men's clinic at Dr Pathela’s practice in Limpopo Thohoyandou, and he continued with his passion of male sexual health and circumcision for 10 years.

Dr Tshikosi worked in 3 provinces before moving to Cape town to be trained as an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine Subspecialist. His practice is focused on offering women a comfortable experience during his consultations.

He is passionate about women’s health and empowering women by educating them about their health, family planning and fertility preservation procedures. His surgical procedures are mainly done endoscopically (pin holes procedures)

Dr Tshikosi is warm, compassionate and understanding towards his patients. He enjoys bringing new life into the world and sharing in the excitement and joy on the faces of new parents.

Dr Tshikosi cares for patients during pregnancy and childbirth, providing healthcare, monitoring, education and practical advice to expectant mothers. His main focus is providing quality care maternity care and helping mothers give birth to a healthy baby.
